Type of course? Parkland. Trees and ditches.

Pleasant staff? Yes.

Best hole? The 10th because you have to plot your way carefully around all the ditches. Fun.

Après golf? Lovely scones (jam first).

Nice round? Joyful. I was determined to not think at all and just swing freely and it worked! It was far from perfect, but a vast improvement. Golf and I, we’re back together.

Special memory? When Stefi, my Italian opponent who delighted me with her beautiful drives, exceptional long game and deadly short game revealed that she owned a cheese factory. I’ve never particularly wanted to be someone else. Until that point.

Must play again? Yes, as I’ve invited myself to come back to do a review of the course with Stefi.
